A GOOD ENGLISH VIOLA, ASCRIBED TO AND PROBABLY BY DANIEL PARKER, LONDON, c. 1717
Labelled, "Daniel Parker, London, 1720."
Dimensions reduced slightly in the lower bouts.   LOB 42.0 cm 

* Sold with certificates from J. & A. Beare, London (February 1, 1973), William Moennig & Son, Philadelphia (June 21, 1974) and Jacques Français, New York (April 19, 1979).
** Dendrochronology confirms the youngest tree ring of the top as 1701 and finds significant similarity with several other Parker instruments. A written report is available from Peter Ratcliff.
