Further labelled: Sole agents No.35 Hawkes & son, Denman St Piccadilly Circus London dated 1919. Length of back: 14 1/16ins, 357mm. Sold with the original illustrated brochure pgs. 20, 21, 22, from Hawkes & Son, advertising Pedrazzini's work.. During his lifetime James 'Billy' Dodds performed in all the major theatres in and around the Newcastle area in the 1920s and 1930s, including the Palace Theatre, the Haymarket and the Empire Theatre. In 1937 Billy purchased the Pedrazzini and it remained in his possession until his death.
