Born at Mirecourt, 1800. Died 1878. Pupil of Jacques Lafleur. Worked in Paris. Splendidly made bows, but for all their perfect balance we think he made them too robust and consequently too heavy for soloists.Excellent bow-maker - some have very ornamental frogs.
