Detail Introduction

Mr. Yuan was born in 1947. He turned from violin playing to making， and started studying ::he craft in 1979， specializing in bow making. He was taught for four year by Prof. Tan Shu-Chen.He traveled to Japan in 1986 and worked at Tokyo's Music Plaza，Ltd. He was the chief bow expert at this famous Japanese shop. Some of his bows bear the stamp 'm.p. Thibaut Tokyo'; beneath the frog on the shaft is stamped 'yzk'， designating his personal making. He has produced more than 500 ows.
