Mr. Yan Fei is a 1999 graduate of Shanghai Conservatory， specializing in violin making. He was taught by Prof. Hua Tian-Ren at the Conservatory， and by Zhu Xian-Tong of California. In year 200o he co-founded the first professional violin shop in Southwest China， Fei Nor Violin Shop. He was invited by Sichuan Music Academy， in 2004， to draft instruction and examination curricula for the newly established violin making program there.
