Detail Introduction

Ms. Wei (b 1961) was an apprentice maker 1980-85 at the North East Instrument R&D Center， Liao-ning Province. She received instructions from Dai Hong-Xiang and Yu Bo. 1985- I 988 she enrolled at Shenyang Music Academy pursuing violin making under Jiang Yun-Kai， but she was also a full time music student. After 1988， on the recommendations of Xu Fu and Chen ling-Nong， she became a teacher of violin making， performance and violin history at the Second Light Industry's violin school. She currently is on faculty at Guangdong Dance Arts Academy. She is a part-time violin maker. Mmember， China Violin Makers' Association.
