Born in 1952 in Shanghai. Took violin lesson and joined in orchestras in Shanghai. Mr. Luo studied violin making at Shanghai Conservatory from 1978-1982 with Prof. Shu-chen tan    Settled in New York City in 1984， where he worked in several major violin shops. In 1992 he established own violin shop in Long Island. Currently working as an independent maker and dealer，making about 7-8 instruments per year. His instruments are well received， especially in the greater new York area.
