Detail Introduction

Born in l951，Mr.Liu began violin making study in 1989as a student at Central Conservatory Violin R&D Center， which is followed in 1991 when he took up bow making under the guidance of Zheng Chuan. During 1996， he worked in Chicago in John Norwood Lee's shop. He returned to China in 1997， and was again in the US for part of 2001 and 2002. During this California stay he was a bow maker for Marquis Violins， Pasadena. Currently on the staff of the Violin R&D Center where he was a student initially. Member， China Violin Makers' Association. Member， Universal Strings Society of America.
