The Master Alessandro Gambarin was born in St. Etienne in French in July 1979, he grows and attends the compulsory school in Lugano in Switzerland.

In 1997 he moved to Cremona where he studied in the international school for string instrument.

He studied under the supervision of the Masters Ezio Scarpini and Massimo Negroni. He obtains successful his diploma in 2002.

He trains up and is educated in the famous M° Stefano Trabucchi\'s workshop so that he arrives at technical abilities to the level of excellence. At the beginning his instruments were typical academic products, but as time passed the M° Alessandro Gambarin developed a personal and original style abandoning the academic models. After he turns away from his master workshop; he begins to work in his workshop in Piazza San Michele and his autonomous production shows a high level of quality in his work.

The instruments made by the M° Alessandro Gambarin show is desire to recuperate the virtuoso skill and the refinement of the cremonese classical masters but he also desires to impress upon his instruments a personal fascination and character.

Most likely his chief source of inspiration were the instruments of the grand maestros who preceded him, the finest exemplary figures of Antonio Stradivari, Amati and Guarneri families. Than he collaborates with M° Simeone Morassi\'s workshop, where the last one taught him to make perfect and complete violins. Here Alessandro Gambarin begins that current which culminates in his "best period". Now he has his workshop in Corso Vittorio Emanuele II near the "Amilcare Ponchielli" theatre with another famous Master Patrizio Orippi.

Here the master Alessandro Gambarin sets himself to explore a new spirit in the violin making in Cremona because his high level of work leads him to maintain that a pure imitation is not true creativeness becoming a luthier of considerable ability, now he makes especially violins which are excellent instruments of accurate, elegant, methodical, discipline built, by fine timber and finished with high quality varnishes.
