Antonio Pollusca(Paluska, Pollasha) worked at Rome 1750-1791, A Bohemian who Italianised his name to Pollusca, first period instruments distinctively follow the Prague school, later dated come forcibly under the influence of Tecchler's style. Modelling not of remarkable beauty, or perfection in the workmanship, but all details call forth a certain amount of admiration, nice medium arching and graceful sound-holes. Henri Poidras describes Pollasha’s work as “good make”.
