Detail Introduction

He was born in Lorient (France) on February 26th, 1973. At the age of 19, he moved to Italy to learn violin-making at the Civica Scuola di Liuteria of Milan with Nadia Mantovani. After the degree he worked in various shops to increase his experience in violin restoration: he worked in Paris with Pierre Barthel and Guy Coquoz and in New York with Bruce Dupin de Saint-Cyr. From 1998 to 2005 he had an appointment with Mathijs Heyligers. This collaboration gave him the opportunity to dedicate on both restoration and new making. Independent violin maker since 2005 he mainly makes new instruments, inspired by the great Cremonese School of the classical period.
