Lapo Vettori was born in Fiesole 1984, he is the third son of Paolo, grandson of Dario. Following his brother Dario II's step, he made violins in his father's workshop when he was young. He also learned violin in Cherubini Music Conservatory in Florence. When he was 18, he began to make violins with his own label.
