Detail Introduction

Said to be the most talented of the Pilat pupils. He worked in Viea for Thomas Zach and Joseph Hamberger Jr., in Berlin for Karl Ferenczy-Tomasovsky and then in Budapest for Tanczer, Lutz, Pilat, Remenyi and Magyoroy. It is likely that he supervised the workshop of Pilat for some time. In 1920 Fred Chaminer set up a counterfeiter\'s workshop in Budapest for Barany under the name Dezso Baranyy & Co. Here he faked the work of leer-known Italian makers.
