A member of the Mirecourt family of violin makers. Worked from 1790s to 1840s, in Mirecourt, Paris then Versailles. His bows are very rare, and a number of other makers stamped their bows with his name. Details are few on this maker. A contemporary of Tourte; was certainly influenced by Tourte both in the head design and in metalwork. Bows are typically stamped "EURY"
