Born in 1905 at S. Germano (Mon Ferrato). Nephew and pupil of C. Farotto. Son of Farotti (Farotto),Salvatore. Manuscript label. Ne a St-Germain Monferatto, Ie 10•11•1905. Eleve de son oncle ~ digne continuateur de celui-ci, II setablit a Milan dans la via Dante OU il professe toujours. Belle lutherie d' apres les modeles Stradivari, Rocca et Pressenda. En 1927, II obtinl une mention honorable au Cancours de I'Acedemie Ste•Cecile a Rome; la grande medaille d'or a Padoue en 1932et un diplome special pour un violon qu'il presenta au Concours International de Cremone en 1949
