Fine Parisian bow maker of the early to mid 20th century. He was born in Mirecourt, the younger brother of Victor, and ent his arenticeship with Emile Miquel. He then worked for Charles Nicolas Bazin until 1902, when he moved to Paris to join the workshop of Eugène Sartory. He became strongly influenced by his Sartory\'s style and often used a very similar model, although some of his bows are in the Peccatte style, featuring square heads... Shops |
