Plinio Michetti (Calizzano (SV), January 20, 1891 - Calizzano (SV), 13 October 1991) was an Italian maker. Himself as a luthier in 1921 in Savona, in 1925 moved to Turin began working for the company Morutto. Produced about three hundred violins; used to build models of his personal tools and sometimes even inspired to Odo, Rocca and other great Cremonese violin makers and Piedmont. He used mainly paints very thick and soft oil-based, mostly dark red or amber in color, rarely yellow and orange.
