Detail Introduction

One of the finest makers of the modern Milanese school. He learnt from Carlo Moneta then joined the Bisiach workshop, where he worked alongside Sgarabotto. He used the Bisiach model but developed his own style, working with precision yet great freedom. In the 1930s he became the official violin maker for Milan\'s La Scala Theatre
