Probably trained in Mirecourt. In the 1820s he visited Italy, including Turin, where he probably met Preenda. He ent several months in Genoa before returning to Turin in 1829. There he worked with Preenda. In 1832 he settled in Nice and from 1834 he labeled his itruments with his own name, suggesting that he had his own workshop. Pacherele gradually shed the influence of Preenda, and his later itruments are more distinctive in style and varnish.
Poirson trained in Paris with Nicolas Maire, then worked for Vuillaume. After Vuillaume\'s death in 1975 he joined the Gand & Bernadel firm, then established himself independently in 1879. He used a Voirin-iired model. Although his production varies in quality, some good bows exist, particularly from his early career.
